Elphick Digital (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through elphickdigital.com.au, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about it.

Elphick Digital is a boutique web design studio based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

We only collect information you choose to give us, or that your browser sends when you visit the site.

  • Contact form: name, email address, optional company name, message, and optional package interest.
  • Pricing enquiries: if you express interest in a pricing tier, we may store your selected tier in a session so it appears on the contact form.
  • Pricing access: if you unlock our pricing page, we store a session flag so you can view it during that visit.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Theme preference: your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device — we do not receive this on our servers.

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and discuss potential projects.
  • Send and receive email related to your message.
  • Operate, secure, and improve this website.
  • Meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Contact messages are sent by email to our studio inbox. Some operational data (such as pricing lead records in a local development environment) may be stored on our server. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share for an initial enquiry.

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond, manage a project relationship, or meet legal and accounting requirements — then we delete or de-identify them where practical.

Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.

This site uses essential session cookies so features like form security and pricing access work correctly. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this website at present.
